We've been trying to figure out a way to improve member communication and collaboration for some time now. We tried the online forum called Discourse last year, but it never really took off.
So, this time we're utilizing a resource that is already used around the country by NEA members at the national, state, and local level called NEA EdCommunities.
Any one can sign up to collaborate on the platform by making an account at mynea360.org, but only UTW members will be able to join the UTW groups that we've created.
All members may request to join any of the UTW groups listed, and we will do our best to make sure that we process those requests expeditiously.
As for navigating the website, it works in much the same way that Facebook works. There is a feed for announcements and discussions, a file folder for resources, and the ability to private message other members.
